ongoing support
All website projects have different ongoing support requirements - these are defined by the client, you and myself.
As with all aspects of my business, I am as flexible as possible to accommodate whatever requirements are presented. No two websites are the same; some require a great deal of ongoing attention, some are published and left for years.
All websites are delivered fit for purpose - if any element of the design or brief is unachievable you'll know in advance. Errors on my part (no software is guaranteed free of bugs) are fixed promptly at no charge. Occasionally there are changes that are impossible to foresee - for example new browser versions may break an element of a site. I will always endeavour to resolve these as a courtesy.
Where Content Management Software has been deployed I will support the client insofar as is reasonable to do so beyond an agreed level of training.
The relationship and terms of business we agree between ourselves will almost always define how support is provided to your client. I have no fixed approach other than to reach a clear agreement with you that is satisfactory to you, your client and myself.
